Here’s a collection of work I did as Lead Character Artist during my time at Mountaintop Studios developing Spectre Divide. The look is very heavily influenced by 80-90s anime, the artstyle of AD Richard Lyons, and a touch of Jamie Hewitt. The project required a considerable amount of look development within Unreal Engine, and collaboration with AD Richard Lyons and tech art to land the desired look. In these images are various stages of look development within each character (Starbright, Beast, Popstar) as well as a few examples of the final assets used in the release.
